Re: Songs for Our Temple (Week 5: Psalms 13-15)
Psalms 13, this chapter is divided into three sections: 1) The question. 2) The plead. 3) The result. I find this happening very often in my life. 1) Lord, did you hear my request, and how long must I wait for an answer? 2) Lord, answer me; I need to know. I am afraid of what’s going to happen here. 3) Lord, I trust this is what you wanted, and I will rejoice in it.

Psalms 14, What can I say about it? What are you if you deny God; a fool says there is no God in his heart, is from verse 1 of the chapter. So many people claim that there is no God, and this is how so many ungodly lifestyles begin. On a happy note, there is Salvation for the soul. How do we get people to listen?
Re: Songs for Our Temple (Week 5: Psalms 13-15)
Psalms 15, who may live in the presence of a Holy God?
There is a list of things in the following four verses.
Verse four starts, “in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honor those who fear the Lord.” what is this saying? That it’s okay to hate the enemies of God, or is that too strong of a word? I suppose the question is, who do I stand within my life? I believe God’s grace is among this verse found in Romans 1-3.
Re: Songs for Our Temple (Week 5: Psalms 13-15)
If we all lived the sort of life we read about in Ps. 15, we’d certainly be a people that more people wanted to be a part of. The righteous person doesn’t slander, doesn’t harm his neighbor, speaks the truth… I’d love to be a Ps. 15 person. It definitely requires God’s Spirit helping us for anyone to even approach what is described here, though.
Re: Songs for Our Temple (Week 5: Psalms 13-15)
I suppose that for the most part, I look at those who are stumbling in their belief in God, or even those who despise him and know that I cannot judge them. It isn’t up to me and that could be me if not for his grace upon me.
