Join Jim as we turn to our next three Psalms (31-33) and are challenged in where we put our focus and hope in life.
Read along with us! Throughout the week, read Psalms 31-33 and, as you have insights or questions, please leave them in the comments below! We’ll be here throughout the week interacting with each other on the readings! We’re aiming to read Psalm 31 today, Psalm 32 by Wednesday and Psalm 33 by Friday so that we can discuss all three of them together.

Re: Songs for Our Temple (Week 11: Psalms 31-33)
PSALMS 31 ASKING FOR DELIVERANCE: In verse five, you read, “into your hands I commit my spirit; you have redeemed me, O God of truth.” I think not only in times of trouble, but we should also call out, “Into your hands, I commit my spirit,” maybe every morning when you wake up. God has redeemed you from the pit. Have you ever found yourself so involved that it’s become an idol to you? Your spirit is so committed to it that God is second nature. TRUSTING FOR DELIVERANCE: Do you trust God for deliverance, or do you know it’s something you should do as a believer? It’s good to have books and friends to help; make sure it’s of God. CELEBRATE HIS DELIVERANCE: After God pulls you out of the mess you were involved in so profoundly, how long is your celebration? Is it just a few minutes, all day, or quickly?

PSALMS 32 GODS COMPLETE FORGIVENESS: We are blessed that our transgressions are forgiven, and our sins are forgiven. Have you ever thought about how God doesn’t count any iniquity against us believers? Just think about that for a few minutes. There is not any deceitfulness in his spirit to turn on you.

Shout for joy in the Lord, O you righteous !!! For you are free. How do you celebrate what God has done for you? I am happy that he forgives me for my sinfulness, and I celebrate by giving Him my attention and singing praises to Him.
I enjoy meditating on His Word just about every morning.
