Join Jim as we turn to our next three Psalms (58-60) and reflect on our true hope found alone in Jesus.
Read along with us! Throughout the week, read this week’s Psalms and, as you have insights or questions, please leave them in the comments below! We’ll be here throughout the week interacting with each other on the readings! We’re aiming to read Psalm 58 by Monday, Psalm 59 by Wednesday and Psalm 60 by Friday so that we can discuss all three of them together.

Psalm 59
It is striking to me that David wants rescue, but he wants not just rescue but rescue that reminds his people that the Lord is the one in control. When things are going wrong for me, do I really think about how I want God’s actions to bring about glory to Him or do I simply want to escape the situation? All too often, I must confess, it is simply the latter.
